8. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential storage for language and privacy preferences. With your consent, the public website uses PostHog analytics cookies to understand page visits, referral sources, and website interactions. Session recording is disabled on the public BirthPath website.

PostHog analytics do not load on the public website until you select "Accept analytics." The BirthPath web app uses product analytics when configured, including on direct visits where no public-site choice exists. Selecting "Decline" prevents PostHog from loading on both birthpath.app and app.birthpath.app. You can change your choice at any time by selecting "Cookie settings" in the website footer or by clearing BirthPath cookies in your browser.
